Pamela Zeibak McCombs - Tenor

Pamela began singing at an early age and joined the San Francisco Children's Opera in the 6th grade. There she found her love of musical stage and opera. She continued singing and performing throughout high school and eventually studied music at San Francisco State University. She sang in many ensembles and a few operas but her favorite is Renaissance choral music After earning her Bachelor's of Music with a vocal emphasis, she married and moved to the Middle East.

Shortly after returning from the Middle East, Pamela joined the Mission Viejo Sweet Adelines chorus where she discovered A Capella. female barbershop. "There is nothing more exhilarating than creating overtones with your besties".

Singing tenor in female barbershop is equivalent to singing soprano with mixed voices. She enjoys soaring to the highs and finishing the barbershop sound.

Teri Lynn Hutchison - Lead

Teri Hutchison, the Lead for Jewel Tones, is a native of Indiana who has been involved in music from a young age, performing in several musical programs at church and traveling with a group called Teen Ambassadors. Growing up, she enjoyed giving organ lessons to children and playing it for many different occasions.

She was later the proud mother of two child performers who toured in various shows throughout the U.S. Based on Southern California since 1995, Teri’s favorite thing to do (besides sing) is spend time with her family and spend time with her two grandchildren.

Finding the opportunity to pursue her life’s greatest passion, she has been a member of Sweet Adeline’s International since 2007 and has been a proud member of the Mission Viejo Chorus since 2009. While Teri loves both harmonizing and taking center stage to showcase her solo vocals and quirky wit and personality, she also thoroughly enjoys serving as “performance coordinator” for her chorus and quartet.

Shirlene Hayes - Bass

Shirlene Hayes, the bass of Jewel Tones, didn't know she could sing until she was 16 years old!  The melody was always too high.  A friend introduced her to the alto part, and she was on her way.  She sang in her high school and college choirs and first heard barbershop harmony when four young men performed in a talent show in college.

As a young bride she discovered Sweet Adelines and has been a member of the Mission Viejo Chorus since 1969.  She is a retired accountant and has 2 children and 3 grandchildren.  Singing with her "sisters" is her favorite thing to do when she's not celebrating and having fun with her family.

Denise Clifford - Baritone

From my first memory, my home was filled with classical music. I began piano lessons at age five and sang in youth choirs in my teens. Before joining Sweet Adelines I sang in a community gospel choir. This is where I developed my amazing sense of rhythm (wink wink). I joined Sweet Adelines 5 years ago and began singing with Jewel Tones 3 years ago. My life has been greatly enriched with these associations.

I am the mother of two boys and the step-mother of two boys and a girl. I am blessed with 14 beautiful grandchildren and a loving husband of 40 years.
